Man oh MAN is this shaping up to be a good season! I have to admit that while I did like the season premiere, I wasn't entirely sure about the religion theme they have going on - it can be a bit of an easy option when writers run out of original idea, and it has been done again, and again, and again. Well, don't I feel silly for doubting them now! The end of episode 3 had me counting down not only the days, but the flippin' hours until episode 4, and if you as me - it was a good one. I sort of wish I hadn't watched the preview scenes for next week, though, because now I'm back to counting down hours.. What do you guys think of this season's theme and baddies?

Hey Dexter fans!
As you will all no doubt be aware, Dexter season 6 episode 1 aired on Sunday. Finally! Unfortunately there isn't a quiz for this week's episode, but with any luck I should have time to put one together next week, so do stay tuned!

Edit: And so, yet another season has come to an end. And as ever, it did so much too soon. Luckily, though, season 6 has been confirmed (read more further down)! The final episode of season 5 aired last night in the US, and if you haven't seen it yet I would suggest you check out the "watch this" menu to the right ->. Episode 11 aired the other day and I've just added it to the "Watch This" menu to the right, if you want to check it out! Unfortunately I'm still swamped with work and thus there will be no Dexter quiz this week, and probably not next week either. There will still be an end-of-season quiz in the new year, however, with questions on all of Season 5 as well as some curveballs from previous season!
On an even more exciting note - Dexter season 6 has been confirmed! This won't really come as a surprise to most of you, I'm sure, but definitely a relief! You can read the story over on Deadline Hollywood. No date has been confirmed as of yet, but based on previous starting dates I'd be willing to put a buck or two on season 6 kicking off around the 25th of September, give or take a week.
Now, on to something a little bit different.. With the success of Dexter-TV, which went straight into being the most popular Dexter fan site on the internet pretty much as soon as it was launched, I thought it would make sense to use it as a platform to support a couple of worthy causes.
 The first site I've chosen is called VolunteeringInfo.org, which aims to make it easier to find the information you need if you're considering to volunteer abroad. They provide regular interviews with past and current volunteers, and have a database with over a hundred international volunteer organisations - many free. So if you're considering to volunteer internationally, why not give them a visit? If you've got a website or blog of your own, you can help them out by writing a quick post like mine, or by adding a link. If you don't, but still want to help, why not become a 'fan' of their facebook page or post a link on twitter?
